I’m really excited to be in the process of planning and launching some new-to-me types of sessions and I’m looking for your help to get them off the ground and regularly available. In the coming months, I hope to begin offering documentary family sessions, fresh 48 newborn sessions and newborn herbal bath sessions (in addition, of course, to my regular sessions) and am working hard to build a portfolio of images of these new types of sessions. If you’re interested in taking advantage of a very discounted rate for one of these sessions as I build my portfolio, if you’d like to chat more about them or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me today.

To give you a better of idea of what these sessions entail, here’s a brief description of each:

Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions are documentary style newborn sessions that take place within about 48 hours of a baby’s birth (hence the name!) either in the hospital or at home, depending on where you’ve given birth. Each session lasts between 1 and 2 hours and aims to capture the freshness, newness, wonder and marvel of the little person who has just arrived in this big outside world. Email me today to get more information or to book your session.

Documentary Family Sessions are sessions that take place over the course of a few hours at your home, at the park or wherever it is that you and your family like to spend to time together. I am the plus one for that particular morning or afternoon and document your life as a family on that particular day– no posing, no artifice, just the chaotic, heartwarming beauty of real, everyday life. You can think of this approach to family photography as storytelling photography, a way to commemorate the day-to-day narrative of your life. Email me today to get more information or to book your session.

Newborn Herbal Bath Sessions are sessions that take place in your home in the early postpartum period and last about 1 hour. During these sessions mom and baby take a soothing, herbal bath together and photos are taken of the bath. The herbal bath mixture used for these sessions is specifically formulated to be soothing for both mom and baby, especially for the wear and tear on mom’s body that often accompany childbirth. Additionally, flowers or flower petals can be added to the bathwater to make these shots even more lovely. These sessions are a great opportunity to capture relaxing bonding time with your new babe and a fabulous add-on to a birth photography package. Email me today to get more information or to book your session.
