A couple of weekends ago, I met up with this lovely family to do some fall family portraits at Deas Island Regional Park. Their adorable daughter is a new walker and was so completely enthralled with her new mobility that she was less than enthusiastic about sitting still or being held for any length of time. And who could blame her? When you think about it, walking is actually pretty amazing and makes exploring the beautiful world around us so much easier! Her parents stayed close by to catch her if she fell and I tried to capture just a bit of this little, intrepid explorer’s wonder. We even managed to get a few shots of the happy family all together–a successful afternoon, to be sure!
