When we moved to Madison in the spring of 2017, my younger daughter was preschool-aged. I really didn’t have much of an idea of where to enroll her, but a new friend recommended that I check out Preschool of the Arts. The moment I walked into the school, I knew that this place was for us. It was warm, busy, full of creativity and love, and almost four years later, I feel exactly the same about it.
So I couldn’t have been happier to have had the opportunity to do PSA’s school photos again this year. This was the third year in a row that I was lucky enough to take pictures of all of the amazing kids at Preschool of the Arts. And I really can’t say enough about how amazing it is to see the growth and change in the children who I have now photographed over these past few years.
Instead of using a black backdrop as in years past, this fall I used the natural foliage of the school’s playground as the background for the school portraits. I’m so happy with the results (and I hope that families were too)! The weather during picture week was beautiful, the children were as delightful, sincere and funny as always and my heart was as full as it could be.
And so without further ado, here is a sampling of some of my favorite faces from PSA’s 2020 school photos!
